Indonesian Tropical Geospatial is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in geospatial technologies. Our focus is on national landscape observation and monitoring down to local case studies, particularly highlighting Indonesia as a crucial tropical region. Indonesia faces significant challenges such as climate change, deforestation, and rapid urbanization. Through advancements in geospatial technologies, we aim to address these issues and contribute to sustainable natural resource management. However, we also welcome studies from other tropical countries/regions as long as they are relevant to tropical management issues in Indonesia.
Indonesian Tropical Geospatial promotes scientific research that contributes to the development of geospatial platforms, including big data, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other innovative technologies. This research is expected to have a significant impact on applications for the management and protection of natural resources, including spatial planning for sustainable resource utilization.
We accept submissions in both Indonesian and English, making the journal accessible to a wider audience and promoting the dissemination of research findings to both local and international communities.
